Livingstones Supply Co. are proud supporters of Children in the Wilderness(CITW) and Tour de Tuli. CITW's mission is to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development.


About CITW:

Children in the Wilderness is an environmental and life skills educational programme that focuses on the next generation of rural decision makers. It is one of the few programmes aimed at bridging the divide that exists between communities and wildlife.

Children in the Wilderness hosts rural children that live alongside our Parks and Reserves and teaches them the importance of conservation. The Children in the Wilderness programme aims to develop environmental leaders who are inspired to care for their natural heritage so that they become the custodians of these areas in the future.

Children in the Wilderness exposes children to their wildlife heritage, builds and strengthens their capabilities to cope with life's challenges and educates them with the life skills necessary to actualize their greatest potential.

Children in the Wilderness is now in its tenth year of operation. The opportunities presented by the programme are always increasing and therefore there is a need to be proactive with regards to fundraising in order to realise the programme’s potential.


About Tour de Tuli:

One of Children in the Wilderness’ prime fundraising activities has been the cycle tours, which have proven both popular and life-changing for both the cyclists and the organizers!

In order to streamline this capability and to enable us to continue to operate on the leading edge of great cycle events, all fundraising events are operated under Tour de Wilderness – an umbrella brand which manages and coordinates all fundraising activities for Children in the Wilderness.

All monies raised, will directly benefit Children in the Wilderness. In this way, Tour de Wilderness will assist in ensuring the sustainability of the Children in the Wilderness programme through adventure tourism with a purpose!
