Catalogue & Procurement
At Livingstones Supply Co, we continuously research and curate the best hospitality products, and list them in our catalogue. Sometimes, however, we recognize that you may need items beyond our current selection. If we can fulfill your request, we’ll provide available options and pricing.
Our Journey
Established in 1986 as Livingstones Garden and Home in Johannesburg, our company initially focused on providing outdoor furniture, garden equipment, and bush-clearing tools to game reserves, safari lodges, and hotels. Recognizing the growing demand for premium hospitality supplies, Livingstones Supply Co. (LSC) was founded in 2008 as a separate entity within the group, dedicated exclusively to hospitality products and equipment. Today, we are recognized as industry leaders, offering a carefully curated selection of durable and sustainable products that have been thoroughly tested for quality and performance. With over two decades of experience, we take pride in being a trusted supplier to lodges, hotels, and discerning homeowners.
Like Dr. Livingstone, we are on a Mission
We are committed to providing exceptional service and superior products that stand out in quality, design, and durability. Our goal is to offer unique and well-crafted hospitality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers in the hospitality industry on the African continent.
We understand that hotels, lodges, and guesthouses require tailored hospitality solutions. That’s why we take a personalised approach, working closely with you to ensure your specific requirements, preferences, and constraints are met effectively. We offer two convenient ordering options. In both cases, our sales team carefully reviews your order, refines product selections, and identifies the best solutions for your needs. We provide a comprehensive cost breakdown covering products, customisations, and shipping, along with an estimated delivery timeline.
Wholesale & Trade Business
Our strong relationships with manufacturers allow us to offer competitive pricing for bulk purchases. In today’s competitive market, securing the best prices is crucial for businesses. We work closely with our trade clients to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
Inspired by Dr. Livingstone
Our brand takes inspiration from the legendary explorer Dr. David Livingstone, a pioneer in African exploration and humanitarian efforts. His resilience, curiosity, and commitment to progress resonate with our own ethos. The famous quote, “Dr. Livingstone, I presume?” is reflected in our name, symbolizing our dedication to exploration, discovery, and delivering the best in hospitality supplies. Like Livingstone, we go the distance ... Dr. Livingstone’s relentless pursuit of uncharted territories and commitment to his mission exemplify a spirit of unwavering determination. At Livingstones Supply Company, we embody this same tenacity in our operations. Specializing in procuring bespoke hospitality products, we ensure reliable and timely delivery across Africa, navigating challenges with the same resolve that characterised Dr. Livingstone’s journeys.
